Climate migration in the Pacific

The politics behind climate migration and adaptation in the Pacific region.

This project is a series of stories exploring climate migration and adaptation in the Pacific, with a focus on Kiribati as a case study.

To complete this project I travelled to Kiribati and Fiji, to conduct on-the-ground interviews with politicians, diplomats, locals and NGOs.

The project was funded through the NZ Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade Pacific Journalism Grant.
